Easter bunny napkin ring and glass clip - with free download

I am really excited about this post. It is my first post with files you can download and use with a Cricut Explore cutting machine. I just got a Cricut Explore Air for Christmas and I have already made a few projects with it. I have also shared how you can turn a hand drawing into a cutting file (SVG).

Today I am excited to share my first downloadable on A Home for Crafts.

I made a quick and easy craft for your Easter table setting: A bunny napkin ring and a drink clip. You can download the files at the bottom of this post.

For the napkin ring, I cut out a bunny that is 3.5 inches tall and the napkin paper strip, I cut out at 5.5 inches long. For the glass clip, I cut out a bunny that is 2.5 inches tall.

Other supplies I used where:

White cardstock

Big pom pom

Small pom pom

Miniature clothes pin

Medium glue dots

Mini glue dots

Orange beverage napkins

To get a nice rounded napkin ring, I shaped it with my thumb and index finger a couple of times, to round the cardstock. Then I inserted the taps into each other to create a ring.

I used a mini glue dot to glue the napkin ring to the large bunny shape.

To attach the tails, I pinched the pom poms to separate the threads and then I put a medium sized glue dot as close to the middle of the pom pom as I could get it. Then I pressed it firmly onto the bunny shape.

For the drink clip, I added two mini glue dots to the miniature clothes pin and attached it to the bunny. I attached a small pom pom tail to the other side.

Philosophical question: Is the tail on the front or the back of this bunny craft?

That's it. Now just repeat for as many guest as you are having over.

To set the table, I used a small orange beverage napkin, which I unfolded and rolled into a cone - a carrot, right? - then I slipped the bunny napkin ring onto it to secure the cone shape. I added the drink clip to one of the glasses.

You could further embellish the bunnies by stamping a guest's initial on it. Or leave them plain.

I think this would be great for an Easter brunch. Or lunch.
